Albert Robida – From the Restored City to the Visited Monument
Visits to 10 am on Saturdays and Sundays will be followed by a presentation lasting around 30 minutes on the exhibition dedicated to Albert Robida, on display at the Hôtel de la Cité until 15 November 2026.
An illustrator, writer and avid traveller, Albert Robida cast a unique gaze upon Carcassonne at the end of the 19th century. His works bear witness to a pivotal period, when the Cité, restored under the guidance of Viollet-le-Duc, gradually became a monument that people came to discover, admire and visit.
