Boulangerie de la Cité

A cosy space

The Cité's only bakery, a must-see address in the Cité de Carcassonne.

La Boulangerie de la Cité is a So Frenchy living space located opposite the hotel. This bakery - tearoom - delicatessen is the ideal place to stroll before or after strolling through the narrow streets of the Cité. All the products are homemade and prepared by the Hôtel de la Cité's Head Pastry Chef and Head Baker.

With its terrace and garden, you can enjoy a moment of choice in the heart of the Cité on sunny days.

Nestling in the heart of one of the oldest corbelled houses in the fortress, dating from the end of the 15th century and facing the Basilica of Saint Nazaire, this Bakery - Patisserie - Delicatessen welcomes you in a decor designed by Studio Jean-Philippe Nuel.

You'll find homemade bread and Viennese pastries, as well as pastries prepared using traditional and creative methods. You'll also find a host of local delicacies in the shop.
